We’re Bringing Burgers, Beer & Bourbon to Southington
We will be opening our newest location at 20 Spring Street in Southington in the old Bertucci’s building this Winter! The restaurant is located immediately off the Queen Street exit of I-84, making it an extremely desirable location.
Renovations and construction are underway with February of 2020 as the target opening date. We will begin the hiring process for 50 – 60 new jobs to fully staff the restaurant, which is 5,018 square feet. The new layout will seat approximately 150 people with a lively bar area and ample seating in the dining room. The design will integrate a mix of locally sourced reclaimed lumber and modern elements like gleaming, meat hook light fixtures.
Our founder and CEO, Allie J. Gamble says, “We like to build relationships with local farms, businesses and breweries, because we believe in supporting and growing with our communities. Of course, the produce is always fresher, the beer has a regional flavor and making new connections is just a win-win. This location will offer new specialty items that our other Plan b’s scratch kitchens don’t feature, such as home-made wood fired pizzas like we do at Butchers & Bakers. Good times – Made locally is what we believe, that’s why each Plan b location provides a unique dining experience.”
“We’re proud to offer high quality food with approachable pricing that compliments the current offerings in the Southington area. Our award-winning burgers are what we’re really known for and that starts with using only the best ingredients,” says Shawn M. Skehan, co-founder of Locals 8 Restaurant Group.
This location will feature our signature all-American craft beer, artisanal bourbon, and of course, our famous burgers in an upbeat, casual, neighborhood environment.
